By Forrest Fenn

Price:$145.00

Forrest Fenn tells the story of the artist Joseph Henry Sharp (1859-1953) who lived and worked at both Crow Agency, Montana and Taos, New Mexico. In these very different regions, he studied and painted the Native people, as well as the vast and beautiful landscapes. While in Montana, Sharp painted 212 portraits of men who fought against Geo. A. Custer in the Battle of Little Big Horn. Sharp left a rich legacy of stories, photographs and paintings that reveal the American Indian as they lived in the early 20th century. 369 pages. Color and black & white images. Published by One Horse Land & Cattle Co., Santa Fe, NM. 2007.
