Solliday studied at the Lukits Academy of Fine Art, Los Angeles, CA, and draws inspiration for the landscapes in his historical artworks by painting out of doors. He is a Signature Member of the California Art Club and an honorary member of the Laguna Art Association. He will be included in the 2008 Masters of the American West, Autry National Center, Los Angeles, CA, and his work will be featured in a solo exhibition at Altermann Galleries, Santa Fe, July 18, 2008.
