Stylistic evaluation and age show it to be the work of Filomena Cajete Gutierrez, who was the grandmother of the celebrated potter Margaret Tafoya. Her mother Sara Fina, who in turn was taught by her mother, Filomena, instructed Margaret in the traditional ways |
