Will Burlingame (b. 1942)  Artworks >>

A book illustration, "Riders of the Open Range", by Charles Russell determined Will Burlingame's career. Seeing the reproduction in a book owned by his grandfather, he set out to be a western artist. He studied at the Art Center School in Los Angeles and worked in commercial art to earn a living and did western painting in his spare time. In the mid 1970s, he turned to full-time fine art painting. Source - askart.com
