A bronze sculpture of famed humorist Will Rogers astride his favorite horse Soapsuds.
American sculptor Electra Waggoner Biggs was from the legendary Waggoner Ranch family. This offering is a smaller version of the life-sized casting she created that stands in front of the Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth, Texas. The statue was commissioned in 1936 after Rogers’ fatal plane crash in Alaska. The artist was also commissioned to sculpt Presidents Truman and Eisenhower, Bob Hope, Knute Rockne and other notable Americans.
