It also received the William Weiss Purchase award in 1992 at the Buffalo Bill Show and Sale and is in the permanent collection at the Buffalo Bill Museum in Cody, Wyoming. The bronze sculpture is mounted on a wooden base with a bronze bas relief band that encircles the base and is decorated with numerous well known cattle ranch brands.
PLATE READS; In the unwritten laws of the range the work ethic still exists. When you hire on with an outfit you ride for the brand. No matter how difficult the task, true commitment takes NO EASY WAY OUT
