Lot 90 Frank Tenney Johnson, Range Boss Joe Ericson at the Swenson Land and Cattle Co., Inc.: This work was exhibited in the National Academy of Design.

Lot 172 George de Forest Brush, Out of the Silence: The work is not a chromolithograph but a photolithographic print; however, the work is most likely contemporaneous with the life of the artist. The original oil painting, created in 1886, is in the Gilcrease Museum in Tulsa, OK. An image of the original oil painting is on page 199 of George de Forest Brush: The Indian Paintings by Nancy K. Anderson, National Gallery of Art Washington.
