To the unaided eye this work appears to be in good condition. The work has been lined previously using beeswax and has recently been reheated and pressed to insure adhesion. There are cracks visible that that were the reason for the lining restoration and some of these cracks show in the painting when viewed under ultraviolet light. The pigments are clean and the varnish is recent. This piece is framed in a carved gold frame. The frame is in good condition with normal wear.
