To the unaided eye, this piece appears to be in good condition. There are multiple ink smudges along the right side of the piece. There are two diagonal creases in the lower left corner of the piece. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals a normal fluorescence of pigments. There are no signs of restoration. The piece is mounted under glass with a wide beige liner and a gold fillet and is framed in a semi-ornate antiqued gold molding. The frame is in good condition with normal signs of wear.
