I have read this Important Notice and agree to its terms.
The painting is in very good condition with craquelure visible at the top of the horse’s head. There is a 1 inch slight scratch at the right middle horse’s rump.
Under UV light there is visible a 2 1/4 by 1/8 inch inpainted line to the right of the main horse’s right front hoof. A 1/4 inch long inpainted line to the lower right of the horse’s left hoof. There is paint loss between the rider’s right foot and horse’s body. All marks and inpainting are outside of subject matter.
The 4 inch wide dark cherry frame is in good condition. It has a gold inner liner. Frame and liner are separating at all corners. The gold liner has cracked at the upper left 3 1/2 inches in to the center.
