Lot Condition Report:

I have read this Important Notice and agree to its terms.

Colt Single Action Army S/N 10015 US Martially inspected by O. W. Ainsworth. Ainsworth is considered the most desirable of the 6 or so major inspectors as he was the earliest and the surviving examples that have not been altered are the scarcest. All of the Single Actions that Custer was carrying were inspected by Ainsworth. This gun is accompanied by a letter from John Kopec who is an author and considered to be the eminent expert on US Martial Single Actions. Mr. Kopec says this gun is completely original with a few minor screws replaced and no attempts at fakery. Very rare to find one of these guns in original configuration.
